About the Role

As part of the Minor Digital 2.0 transformation program, we are building a unified omni-channel digital ecosystem connecting global brand websites, Internet Booking Engine (IBE), Enterprise CMS and Digital Asset Management platforms, payments and integrations, mobile applications and emerging AI-enabled channels. The Platform Tech Lead will define and implement the technical architecture and engineering standards that support Minor Hotels’ global digital platform and guide the transition from legacy systems to the future platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable platform architecture supporting global brand websites and booking journeys.
• Architect integrations between legacy systems and the new omni-channel digital platform, including APIs, integration layers, data flows and system interoperability.
• Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance and maintainability; define API standards and reusable services.
• Work extensively with enterprise technologies: CMS platforms (Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, Optimizely), Digital Asset Management systems and Internet Booking Engines to ensure seamless integration between content, booking and operational platforms.
• Lead adoption of AI tools within the SDLC for code generation/review, documentation, test case generation and productivity improvements; establish responsible AI engineering practices.
• Champion Agile development methodologies; collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams to translate product requirements into technical architecture and implementation strategies.
• Coordinate development across internal teams and outsourced engineering partners across multiple time zones; ensure vendors adhere to architectural standards and best practices.
• Maintain high standards of technical documentation for architecture, APIs and platform components, and drive automation across development workflows including testing, deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in software engineering, platform architecture or technical leadership.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise digital platforms and integrations.
• Strong experience with CMS, DAM and booking or e-commerce platforms.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools within development workflows.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and experience leading distributed engineering teams and external vendors.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to work with global teams in Bangkok, Madrid and Brisbane.

Technical Skills

• Enterprise CMS platforms and headless architectures.
• API architecture and microservices; standards for REST APIs and reusable integration frameworks.
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP), DevOps and CI/CD automation, containerisation and orchestration.
• Modern frontend frameworks and data integration/middleware platforms.

Additional Information

• Industry experience in hospitality, travel or booking-driven platforms (hotels, OTAs, airlines, cruise/tour operators, ticketing/reservation platforms) is highly preferred.
