Accountant

About the Role

Accountant at Orise responsible for full-set accounting, tax compliance, audit support and treasury-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-set accounting under TFRS and IFRS.
• Perform reconciliations and variance analysis for key accounts.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate data.
• Knowledge of project-based business, including percentage of completion (POC) accounting, is preferred.
• Experience in international transactions, particularly intercompany (IC) transactions, with basic knowledge of tax matters such as withholding tax (WHT) and transfer pricing is an advantage.
• Prepare and file monthly/annual tax returns (PP30, PP36, PND3, PND53, PND50, PND51, stamp duty) and ensure timely tax payments and tax ledger accuracy.
• Monitor regulatory updates and advise on tax impact.
• Prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor inquiries and maintain complete documentation for audit trails.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including AR/AP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in accounting, audit, and tax in Thailand.
• Experience with iDempiere or Sage Accpac accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Thailand tax rules and understanding of audit and reporting standards.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
