Job Purpose

Support and drive safety, occupational health, and environmental aspects and strategies within the organization, including ensuring compliance with all relevant organizational SHE standards. Support the operations and management of Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment (SHE) at the factory level, focusing on compliance with SHE policies, promoting a safety culture, and coordinating with various departments to improve SHE performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Group's SHE policies and standards within the factory, adapting them to the local context.
• Coordinate with the Plant SHE Manager in planning and monitoring the factory's SHE strategy, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support compliance with SHE laws, customer requirements, and various certification standards (e.g., ISO).
• Manage and control SHE documents to ensure traceability and compliance with external audit requirements.
• Participate in designing and conducting internal audits and inspections according to the Group's SHE standards.
• Collaborate with the factory team to support timely risk assessments and implement effective risk control measures.
• Manage the incident reporting process, ensuring thorough investigations and appropriate corrective/preventive actions.
• Implement SHE emergency plans in case of incidents such as fires and wastewater spills.
• Conduct SHE training for personnel at all levels, including new employees and contractors, to foster a safety-first culture.
• Support internal communication within the factory to encourage employee participation in improving SHE performance.
• Continuously support the operation, monitoring, and development of Occupational Health and Safety projects.
• Conduct workplace environment measurements (e.g., noise levels, air quality) and drive proactive measures to reduce risks.
• Prepare and submit legally required safety and environmental reports/documents accurately and on time.
• Plan and conduct safety inspections at critical points and monitor inspection results in various operational areas.
• Monitor work-related injury cases, ensuring appropriate remedies, and manage benefits for work-related accidents (e.g., compensation) as needed.
• Support the management of essential environmental inspections and tests, such as air quality checks and wastewater sampling.
• Collect and verify the accuracy of environmental data, and resolve data reliability issues.
• Ensure full compliance with legal requirements for environmental documentation and reporting.
• Support community engagement activities to listen to and address complaints related to environmental impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or other related fields.
• 0-3 years of experience in Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment (SHE), particularly in industrial factories, will be given special consideration.
• Knowledge of SHE laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of SHE management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, safety inspection, and internal audit.
• Knowledge of accident investigation, root cause analysis, and emergency management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, able to work effectively with various departments.
• Highly responsible, meticulous, and courageous in providing safety advice or warnings when risks are identified.
• Able to work both in the office and production areas, including regular inspections of operational areas.
