Swift Engineer

About the Role

As a remote, hourly paid Swift Engineer, you will review AI-generated responses and generate high-quality Swift and iOS-focused content, evaluating the reasoning quality and step-by-step problem-solving behind each solution. You will assess solutions for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the prompt; identify errors in methodology or conceptual understanding; fact-check technical details; write expert-level explanations and model solutions that demonstrate correct approaches in Swift and iOS; and rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality. This contract role is with SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate that provides AI training data for many of the world’s largest AI companies and foundation model labs.

Additional Information

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content: create detailed prompts and expert responses to guide AI learning across Swift and iOS topics.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance model accuracy, fluency, and contextual relevance.
• Assess solutions for correctness, clarity, methodology, and conceptual understanding; identify errors and fact-check technical details.
• Write expert-level explanations and model solutions demonstrating correct Swift and iOS approaches.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Swift/iOS development experience.
• Strong understanding of core Swift fundamentals, memory management, and ARC.
• Professional iOS engineering experience shipping or maintaining production mobile applications.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Ability to evaluate code for correctness, maintainability, performance, and UI logic quality.
• Significant experience using large language models (LLMs) to assist with coding, debugging, and code review.
• Excellent English writing skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly; minimum C1 English proficiency preferred.
• Highly preferred: experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine and modern iOS architectures such as MVVM.
• Preferred: merged pull requests in Swift/iOS open-source projects, competitive programming exposure, or similar evidence of strong algorithmic problem-solving skills.
• Experience reviewing app logic or mobile architecture, with previous AI data training or model evaluation work strongly preferred.
