Accounting/Cost Control Manager : F&B Horeca

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly and annual financial reports for all venues, ensuring accuracy and alignment with overall business goals, and collaborate closely with TMG Accounting for P&L and budget reporting.
• Analyze financial data, including trends, variances, and performance metrics, and present comprehensive financial reporting to senior management with recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain annual budgets for all F&B venues, track budget performance, provide monthly forecasts, and adjust financial projections as necessary; ensure budget data aligns with P&L reporting.
• Implement and manage cost control systems focusing on food and beverage costs, labor cost, and overhead expenses; perform cost-benefit analyses on menu items, ingredients sourcing, and supplier contracts to maximize profitability.
• Oversee inventory management and procurement reporting, ensure inventory systems reflect actual usage, identify areas to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Manage cash handling and banking activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and safeguarding financial assets.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, support external audits with TMG Accounting, and implement internal controls to protect against fraud and mismanagement.
• Collaborate with Operations Directors, Culinary Directors, and other senior leaders to align financial strategy with operations; support business development, new ventures, and venue expansion with financial analysis.
• Lead a small team of F&B accountants, providing guidance, training and mentorship, and promote continuous improvement in financial reporting while ensuring alignment with TMG Accounting systems and policies.
• Oversee implementation and integration of financial systems for P&L and budgeting, and collaborate with TMG Accounting to identify system upgrades or enhancements.
• Integrate sustainability efforts into financial decisions, monitor impact on cost and profitability, and report progress with TMG Accounting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in financial management within the F&B or hospitality industry.
• Proven expertise in budget management, cost control, and P&L reporting in multi-venue operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
• Experience with F&B-specific financial management tools and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks).
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Fair to good in English; Thai language skills are highly desirable.
