About the Company

Dexian APAC supports customers in Oil, Retail and Financial Services sectors. We support high-profile packages with high impact. Location: Bangkok, Thailand. Position: Data Engineer. Job title: SAP BTP Developer (HANA Integration).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications on SAP BTP using services such as CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), Java, SAP UI5.
• Build and manage integrations between SAP BTP and SAP HANA (Cloud).
• Analyze APIs and interface solutions to support data exchange between systems.
• Optimize data models and queries for performance in SAP HANA.
• Collaborate with functional teams, integration teams (e.g., SAP CI), and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of BTP applications.
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ongoing enhancements.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to best practices for BTP development.

Skills / Required Skills / Technical Skills

• Strong experience in SAP BTP development (cloud environment preferred).
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Cloud database and optimizing queries/data models.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (Node.js) and SAP UI5/Fiori development.
• Knowledge of API development and integration (SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration / API Management).
• Understanding of authentication and security concepts in BTP (OAuth, XSUAA, role-based access using CAP).
• Experience with Git-based source control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot cloud applications using logs and monitoring tools.

Qualifications / Requirements

• 3-5+ years' experience in relevant SAP BTP / integration development roles.
• Experience handling data integration and real-time processing scenarios.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work across teams and manage multiple stakeholders; proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Work arrangement: Onsite in Bangkok, Thailand.
