Our Valuation & Financial Modelling team assists clients in creating, growing and preserving value in connection with M&A, joint ventures, fundraising, post-merger integrations, restructurings and disputes. The environment is rapidly developing as applications of big data and AI become standard in helping clients with asset pricing, forward-looking estimates, upsides and risk quantification. We are seeking energetic, motivated self-starters to join an international team of Valuation & Financial Modelling professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business valuations and financial analyses, market research, and capital market and cost of capital analyses.
• Develop complex, integrated financial models using Excel / Power BI.
• Participate in engagements such as fairness opinions, pricing analysis for M&A transactions, valuation of start-ups and financial instruments, and valuation for financial reporting, accounting, and tax purposes (e.g., intangible asset valuation, purchase price allocation, impairment testing, valuation for share-based payments).
• Provide key advice on deal considerations, including structuring, pricing, and negotiation.
• Cooperate closely with other KPMG experts (M&A, due diligence, restructuring) and with accounting, tax and legal specialists.
• Work in M&A deal execution together with the M&A team (subject to certain requirements).
• Engage with large international and Thai corporations as well as mid-market firms across sectors and proactively interact with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business or a related domain.
• Having passed any level of the CFA exam is an advantage.
• 5–12 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking or project finance advisory, gained with banks, professional firms, or corporations.
• Detailed understanding of valuation and M&A processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and financial modelling; experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL, BI tools, Python/R (basic), Bloomberg and Capital IQ is a plus.
• Demonstrated quantitative and data analytical skills.
