Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and create functional specifications, from architecture down to database schema and software components/classes.
• Design and develop features, APIs, solutions and integrations, and define flows for the platform.
• Discuss and align design solutions with Product Owner, Business Analyst, System Analyst, vendors, developers and legacy system teams.
• Develop solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow options and establish specifications to control the solution.
• Coordinate production and implementation with developers/programmers, architects, product owners, business analysts and vendors.
• Plan sprint timelines and tasks with the team; work with QA and testing teams and review test cases with product owner, business analyst and developers.
• Translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements for stakeholders.
• Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, maintainability, performance and system security; seek to reduce technology costs and improve product performance.
• Support production incidents together with developers and operations teams.
• Provide technical guidance to the team, be self-driven and continuously improve skillset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT business or related fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in a system analyst position; experience in Banking, Internet/Mobile Banking or Payment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Experience in back-end development is a plus.
• Team-working mindset, focus on quality of work and ability to work under pressure.
