About the Role

The Environment Assistant Manager supports the Senior HSE Manager in driving site KPIs and implementing environmental programs to ensure factory compliance with regulatory requirements and Reckitt standards. The role leads environmental initiatives, supports ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation, reports HSE performance, manages corporate HSE data (Enablon), and acts as the single point of contact for environmental matters while supporting daily operational management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 management systems; lead internal audit preparation, update SOPs and control procedures, monitor effectiveness and follow up on CAR/PAR closure, and support management review with the HSE Manager.
• Review and provide guidance on factory changes, including new machine installations and process modifications; support environmental aspect and impact analysis with focus on energy, water and waste KPIs.
• Report environmental performance via site scorecards, dashboards and Enablon; monitor and analyze KPIs and driving factors, generate reports to identify improvement projects and technologies to optimize energy, GHG, water and waste.
• Lead and facilitate monthly Environmental Committee meetings; drive improvement projects and conduct brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure timely updates on legal and regulatory requirements and provide guidance to management to ensure compliance with regulations, Reckitt standards and industry best practices.
• Participate in daily operational (L3) meetings and provide ongoing support to day-to-day operations.
• Conduct workplace inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with operational plans, occupational safety and environmental measures; establish and implement environmental promotion initiatives and campaigns.
• Support HSE Manager in managing HSE budgets, improvement plans and CAPEX initiatives to achieve KPIs and align with the site master plan.
• Perform annual Reckitt standard self-assessments, act as a trainer for standards and KPI awareness, and escalate significant risks or issues to the HSE Manager in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Environmental or HSE roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing EHS management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) and leading environmental improvement projects (waste, water, energy reduction).
• Experience in product carbon footprint analysis and resource consumption analysis is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of applicable environmental regulations in Thailand and relevant environmental certifications.
• Valid wastewater controller license (required); industrial waste controller license (preferred); air pollution controller license (preferred).
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI or other data analysis tools is an advantage.
