Job Summary

Glass Plants - Mould Technician

• Perform cleaning and repair work on damaged molds to ensure they are ready for use.
• Inspect molds before sending them to the production department or placing them into storage.
• Address and resolve mold quality problems that occur during production.
• Carry out tasks assigned by the Quality Control Supervisor to achieve the department's objectives and targets.

Responsibilities

• Clean molds that have been used in the forming process to ensure they are ready for reuse.
• Maintain and repair molds and line-specific spare parts to ensure sufficient availability and rotation as required.
• Inspect molds after maintenance, record maintenance activities, and resolve any issues related to molds during production and forming processes.
• Deliver and store molds used during production in an organized and timely manner.
• Perform other assigned tasks, including production support activities and collaboration with other departments.
• Report work results, general events, problems, and other relevant information to the Foreman or Supervisor.
• Cooperate with and follow the procedures of various management systems such as ISO, GHPs/HACCP.
