Global Analytics & Insights Lead (Finance & HR Analytics)

About the Role

This is a strategic enablement role – enabling leadership in building a “data informed” organization, processes and decision making. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with global and regional C-suite leaders to build a common data and analytics foundation for Caldic globally, bring data-driven insights and sustainable solutions to enhance group-wide strategy, cross-regional coordination, change management, and support strategy execution and common performance measurements. The role will initially focus on Finance and HR analytics but scope may evolve over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Build business performance analysis and analytics solutions for global and regional leadership to support strategic or functional excellence initiatives.
• Drive cross-regional coordination on building a common data analytics foundation to support finance reporting, planning and performance management functions.
• Lead, design and drive projects to introduce structural data-driven and analytics capabilities to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Support alignment of common performance measurements across regions and drive regular monitoring to inform strategy implementation, group targets and action items.
• Support design and implementation of performance management planning/budgeting tools, enhance existing practices and conduct training as part of roll-out.
• Lead short-, mid- and long-term roadmap of function-specific data analytics capabilities.
• Develop balanced scorecards, key metrics and indicators; consult global and regional functional leaders on strategic initiatives, identify improvement opportunities and support mitigation strategies.
• Support adoption of business tools to improve data quality, use of analytics dashboards, and planning/budgeting/forecasting tools.
• Coach and collaborate with regional analyst teams to support global and regional functional excellence initiatives.

Position Requirements & Key Abilities

• University degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, finance analytics, FP&A, controlling, or performance management.
• Strong understanding of financial data, reporting structures, planning and forecasting data, and key finance KPIs; ability to translate finance and business requirements into meaningful analytics, dashboards and insights.
• Strong data management skills with experience in analytics development in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, etc.
• Demonstrated experience and familiarity with star schema data modeling concepts and building/managing efficient semantic models in Power BI.
• Excellent coordination, communication and organisational skills; initiative, self-motivated, multi-tasking with ability to prioritise workload and flexibility to work extended hours.
• Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in teams, diverse groups and complex environments. Fluency in English.
