T&L: Business Tax (Associate- Senior Associate)

About the Role

Service Line / Portfolios: Direct Tax
Location: Bangkok, TH

Responsibilities

• Manage engagements and carry out tax advisory work on domestic and international taxation.
• Provide tax advisory for domestic and cross-border tax issues, including M&A projects (agreement review) and tax due diligence.
• Perform tax reviews and tax due diligence.
• Assist clients with tax controversy matters with the Revenue Department.
• Handle tax compliance tasks, including preparation of corporate income tax returns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 1–4 years experience in auditing or taxation; new graduates are welcome for associate level.
• Accounting and auditing background with strong tax technical knowledge and analysis skills.
• Experience working in Big Four firms or other professional services firms is preferred.
• Able to work effectively in both international and local environments.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent command of English in both written and spoken forms.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Expected to demonstrate leadership behaviours: align work to stakeholder objectives, seek growth opportunities, share knowledge, collaborate, build relationships and work effectively in diverse teams.
