About the Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Finance Leader to act as the Business Controller for our Contract Logistics (CL) division across the Southeast Asia cluster. This strategic role acts as the "co-pilot" to the Contract Logistics business leader, bridging finance and operations, serving as a strategic challenger and advisor to the leadership team. Reports to VP Finance, Southeast Asia, with a dotted line to the Head of Contract Logistics. The role drives financial strategy, influences commercial decision-making on a cluster-wide scale, and enforces financial discipline across multiple geographies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary financial advisor to the CL Cluster Head: challenge commercial assumptions, validate strategic initiatives, and drive financial viability of site expansions and automation projects.
- Own the financial engagement model: ensure total financial coverage of commercial activities (renewals, new business), proactively drive contract margin quality, and close partnership gaps.
- Orchestrate the annual budget and quarterly rolling forecasts for the SEA CL cluster; ensure alignment between top-down strategic targets and bottom-up operational capabilities.
- Drive the performance management cycle for the CL business; analyse and report on key financial KPIs for each site.
- Monitor financial performance against contracts (open and closed book), ensure all services are billed correctly (revenue assurance), and manage costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial capacity within a multinational environment.
- Deep, specialized experience in Contract Logistics / 3PL Supply Chain is mandatory; understanding of warehouse cost structures, Activity-Based Costing (ABC), and WMS data flows is essential.
- Proven ability to act as a business partner with strong influencing and communication skills.
- Expert-level analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
- Proactive, investigative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Business fluency in Thai and English is mandatory.
