About the Role

Teach online at Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp). Join a platform connecting K-12 students in the US, Canada, and APAC with tutors from top universities for personalized 1:1 lessons. You'll teach ESL students in APAC using the Cosmo curriculum, set a flexible and consistent schedule, and meet students for 50-minute one-on-one lessons.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students using the Cosmo curriculum
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff
• Attend all classes on time and teach from a professional, private, quiet setting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC (minimum CPU of 6000)
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
• Available between 3–8 PM Hong Kong Time Monday–Friday or on weekends
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week
• Access to a private and quiet location
