Programmer & Software Developer

About the Role

The purpose of the Programmer & Software Developer is to realize software solutions according to function specifications.

Responsibilities

• Co-create the design and the function description together with mechanical design team to meet customer’s requirement in the order confirmation.
• Develop software solutions including machine automation and motion system, human machine interface (HMI), documentation and integration of third-party devices into machine functions.
• Communicate and coordinate between mechanical engineering, production, project management, purchase, documentation, sales and after-sale service within related project tasks, following planned timelines.
• Share lessons learned, project information and development information with the team.
• Provide technical support for requests from the Service Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechatronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or comparable.
• At least 2 years experience in machine program design or similar field.
• Good in English.

Skills

• Great communication skills.
• Ability and knowledge of software development tools such as MS-Office, So Machine Motion (SOMM) by Schneider-Electric, Vijeo Designer by Schneider-Electric, EPAS-4 by ELAU GmbH, ELCAD by AUCOTEC or similar.
• Experience with Omron PLC programming and Rockwell Automation PLC programming.
• Robotic handling and programming.
