ABAP Developer

About the Role

SAP ABAP Developer (S/4HANA) at SKY ICT PCL. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer to lead technical development and deliver high-quality solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on development expertise, combined with leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise development teams to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery
• Translate functional specifications into technical designs and architecture
• Design and develop complex ABAP / ABAP OO programs, including reports, Module Pool, enhancements (BAdIs, Enhancement Framework)
• Develop and maintain interfaces (IDoc, RFC, APIs) and forms (Adobe Forms, Smart Forms)
• Perform code review, quality assurance, and enforce development best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including root cause analysis
• Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Support system integration, testing, and deployment activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP / S/4HANA development
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior or team lead role
• Strong expertise in ABAP OO and advanced ABAP development
• Experience with enhancements (BAdIs, User-Exits, Enhancement Framework)
• Experience with interfaces (IDoc, RFC, API integration) and SAP Forms (Adobe Forms / Smart Forms)
• Experience working in S/4HANA environments
• Very good command of English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Fiori / OData / CDS Views
• Understanding of SAP system architecture and integration concepts
• SAP S/4HANA Certification is a plus
• Experience in full-cycle SAP implementation projects
