Category Management (Shopee)

About the Role

Define and execute on growth strategy for Shopee’s category. Develop a comprehensive business development plan, mobilize teams to deliver on strategy through solid performance management, and deliver on category’s growth, monetization and strategic adoption goals. Manage Automotive category performance, covering brands, marketplace sellers, and cross border sellers. Build a high performing team through strong work ethics, clear focus on KPI, and deep relationship management with Shopee sellers. Proactively identify new business opportunities for Shopee Automotive through new business development and fundamentals improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute growth strategy for the Automotive category.
• Develop a comprehensive business development plan and mobilize teams to deliver on the strategy through performance management.
• Deliver on category growth, monetization and strategic adoption goals.
• Manage Automotive category performance across brands, marketplace sellers, and cross-border sellers.
• Build and lead a high-performing team with clear KPI focus and strong seller relationship management.
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and improvements to category fundamentals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management in the Automotive industry.
• 2+ years experience in E-commerce is a plus.
• Proven team management and leadership experience; ability to drive performance in large teams and manage cross-organization stakeholders.
• Proven business judgement and deep understanding of the Automotive industry, including established relationships with key brands/sellers.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving ability; ability to manage and troubleshoot team- or category-related issues.
• Fluent in both English and Thai.
