Cost Control Project (Warehouse)

About the Role

Shopee is hiring for a Cost Control Project role focused on Warehouse cost performance. The role involves tracking costs, identifying savings opportunities, designing and driving cost-reduction initiatives, and partnering with finance and operations stakeholders to implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of warehouse cost performance and conduct data analysis to identify cost saving opportunities
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management
• Propose and design initiatives aimed at cost reduction and drive process improvements as project manager to achieve cost saving targets
• Work with key stakeholders to ensure implementation of cost saving projects
• Partner with FP&A to develop, maintain, and implement changes to financial models to support P&L forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
• Perform competitor analysis and benchmarking to model and track competitor cost structures and extract insights to inform strategy

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Project Management, or related fields
• Quantitative background with analytical and problem solving skills and flexible thinking to address what-if scenarios
• Proficient in complex financial modeling with Excel / Google Sheets
• Experience in data analysis with SQL, Google Data Studio, and visualization/programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
• Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English and ability to present and independently discuss topics with management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
