About the Role

Dow Thailand Group is looking for Operating Technician. The successful candidate will be assigned under Polyethylene plant based in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong. You will operate assigned equipment or areas of the Plant with a close to moderate degree of supervision. Performs and reports on operational related activities per the Operations Dashboard (OPD) Tasks List. Develops technical skills on the job to perform routine work activities using existing standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Control or operate entire chemical processes or systems of machines, using panel boards, control boards, or semi-automatic equipment
• Confer with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or product quality
• Communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
• Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources
• Operate work by following safety procedure in work order, instructions

Qualifications

• New grad with internship experience in petrochemical or chemical industry
• Graduated in High Vocational Technical College with min. GPA 2.75 in Petrochemical, Production Technique and relevant
• Thai native speaking
• Moderate level of English communication in writing and reading skills
• Good in Computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS team)

Preferred Skills

• Process Operation & Control: Ability to operate chemical processes and systems using panel boards, control boards, and semi-automatic equipment. Major troubleshooting of process deviations
• Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of plant safety procedures and ability to follow work orders and instructions. Awareness of hazard identification and emergency response protocols. Compliance with environmental and occupational health standards
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Ability to observe, collect, and interpret operational data. Familiarity with petrochemical processes and equipment
• Communication & Coordination: Effective communication with supervisors, peers, and subordinates. Ability to report operational conditions clearly and escalate issues promptly. Team collaboration in shift-based operations
• Continuous Learning & Adaptability: Willingness to develop technical skills on the job. Ability to adapt to dynamic plant conditions and new technologies. Enthusiastic and proactive approach to learning and improvement
