Principal UX/UI Product Designer

About the Role

Shape the future of Enterprise software at Citrix. As a Principal Product Designer you will lead design for administrator and end-user experiences across cloud and on-premises enterprise products, collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers globally to create intuitive and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive key design initiatives and build strong relationships with product and engineering stakeholders, advocating for design excellence
• Apply UX design, research, and strategy expertise to influence product strategy and communicate design decisions across teams
• Partner with Product Managers, Content Designers, and Engineers from ideation through implementation to deliver impactful user experiences
• Proactively understand user needs and translate insights into design solutions
• Lead vision projects to explore future product directions and push boundaries
• Contribute to and evolve the design system, mentor other designers, and stay current on emerging design trends and technologies

Qualifications

• 12+ years product design experience for enterprise software (alternative pathways: Master’s +8 years, PhD +5 years considered)
• Deep understanding of design thinking, user-centered design principles, and design systems
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and variables
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered prototyping tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude Code) to accelerate designs and build functional prototypes
• Proven leadership managing cross-functional design projects and mentoring designers
• Excellent communication skills to present and advocate design concepts to product and engineering leadership

• Compensation ranges (location-dependent): NY: $203,654 - $305,480; CA: $212,509 - $318,763; General State range: $177,090 - $265,636
• Certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards including annual bonus and sales incentives depending on plan and individual performance
