R&D Regional Functional Analyst - Quality

About the Role

Job Purpose/Overview: To continue to deliver our commitment to the Quality Principle and protect our investment in strategic digital R&D and Quality capabilities, the business requires the right level of sustained functional expert support. The Functional Expert organisation ensures the sustainability and maintenance of deployed enterprise R&D systems/platforms in the region and delivers functional analysis and expertise to the business across Mars Snacking, Petcare and Food segments. This role works closely with R&D Regional Systems Functional Experts, Key Business Users and Corporate Product Owners.

Responsibilities

• Provide key/end user support and act as a point of escalation for system issues.
• Develop and maintain key user training curriculum and training materials; support training delivery and hyper-care.
• Create and maintain testing documentation (scenarios, scripts) and define business test case scenarios.
• Coordinate and support testing activities (SIT, UAT, end-to-end) and review service level effectiveness (incident trends, SLAs) to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with development and MDT (Mars Digital Technologies) teams for impact assessment, resolution of system issues/bugs, solutioning, testing and approvals.
• Drive rapid response to "Code Red" incidents by providing functional input into analysis and remediation.
• Support governance, system/process and data quality compliance; perform root cause analysis for gaps and traceability or regulatory queries.
• Execute data and process analysis to support new capability deployment; manage development requests (VADS) and service tickets.
• Provide input to Data Council and Corporate R&D on reporting improvements and data analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in science or IT systems or equivalent; background in food safety/food science or related subject desirable.
• Experience in R&D, Quality, R&D systems, Supply or DT/Business partnership preferred.
• Experience with Atlas, Nexus and ERP-agnostic systems preferred.
• Experience with Power Platforms (Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and advanced Excel and/or other data analytics tools preferred.
• Strong data analysis capability and ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluent in English.
• Competencies: adaptive mindset, analytical processes, customer focus, tech savvy, collaborates and nimble learning.
