Senior Officer, Plating Production

About the Role

If you're passionate about chemical processes, production improvement, and manufacturing excellence, you could be our next Senior Officer, Production Engineer (Electroplating) at Pandora Crafting & Supply.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse gold consumption and plating performance to support production efficiency and cost control.
• Review and summarise XRF analysis results through daily and weekly monitoring.
• Record and monitor chemical receiving and usage data to ensure alignment with BOM requirements.
• Provide technical support to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient plating and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor process abnormalities, analyse data to identify root causes, and implement appropriate countermeasures.
• Recommend and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurring process issues.
• Manage chemical ordering, stock levels, and production resources to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and implement process improvements to optimise the capability of existing tools, equipment, and processes.
• Work with Process and Continuous Improvement teams to improve productivity, lead time, FROT, quality, cost, and sustainability.
• Conduct statistical and process studies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven engineering improvements.

Qualifications

• A fresh graduate or early-career professional in Chemical Engineering or related fields
• Passionate about plating, chemical processes, and production engineering
• Strong in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Good at English communication.
• A team player with good planning and organisational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; Minitab or ERP knowledge is a plus.
