BI & Data Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a data-driven professional to manage and develop end-to-end data infrastructure from data extraction to business insights. This role plays a key part in transforming raw data into actionable strategies through data engineering, advanced analytics, and interactive dashboards to support executive decision-making and drive competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from CRM, SFA, and external sources.
• Manage and maintain database systems to ensure data accuracy, security, and availability.
• Consolidate data from MarTech and SalesTech into a centralized data warehouse.
• Develop interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to track KPIs and business performance.
• Conduct competitor analysis and monitor market trends.
• Deliver deep-dive analytical reports to support strategic planning.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to improve data quality and collection processes.
• Implement AI and automation tools to enhance market intelligence and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering or BI Development; preferred experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or tech industries.

Skills / Technical Skills

• Advanced SQL and programming skills (Python or R); strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker; hands-on experience with ETL tools and cloud platforms; knowledge of data scraping, web crawling, or AI applications is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic insights, excellent communication skills to present complex data clearly to stakeholders, and strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
