Data Labeling Specialist

About the Role

Data Labeling Specialist (AI Training) at Alignerr. Hourly contract, fully remote. Commitment: 10–40 hours/week. Work on categorizing, tagging, and annotating the data that powers AI systems to ensure high-quality training inputs. No prior AI or technical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Categorize, tag, and annotate text, images, or audio using predefined guidelines
• Apply consistent labeling across large datasets to ensure high data quality
• Follow structured annotation instructions with precision and care
• Maintain accuracy through calibration exercises and quality checks
• Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach to structured work
• Able to follow instructions carefully and apply them at scale
• Comfortable using web-based tools and interfaces
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No prior labeling, AI, or technical experience required
• Nice to have: experience with data entry, quality assurance, administrative work, familiarity with AI tools or content platforms, or background in research, transcription, or content review
