Technical Security Consultant, Thailand

About the Role

Technical Security Consultant based in Bangkok, Thailand under a two-year pilot arrangement, responsible for the APAC region. Apply enterprise security standards to new and existing client locations to drive compliance for electronic security technologies, and provide technical oversight, design, installation oversight, quoting and 24/7 operational support for enterprise electronic and physical security systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical security design services for the APAC region and act as Project Manager responsible for technical and commercial delivery.
• Develop concept and preliminary strategy solutions and prepare technical and financial proposals.
• Oversee installation and project management with MSA-approved preferred vendors.
• Provide 24/7 operational support for enterprise electronic and physical security systems.
• Set up and manage job/project administrative systems, including planning and monitoring resourcing and expenditure.
• Work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary design teams; communicate directly with internal clients, lead meetings and present when required.
• Partner with North America and EMEA Technical Security Centre of Excellence engineers to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and control standards.
• Ensure practices, policies and services comply with relevant local legislation, standards and codes of practice.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with low-voltage systems: physical security systems, life safety, network infrastructure or related disciplines.
• Extensive design and coordination experience working with owners, architects and contractors and managing design engineering efforts.
• Experience developing design programs, collaboration processes and design standards.
• Proficient in 2D use of AutoCAD 2018 or later; Revit knowledge desirable.
• Experience in customer support/account management.
• Working knowledge of Chinese is desirable but not essential.
• Experience supporting large CAPEX projects and providing in-region technical oversight across APAC (China, Vietnam, Philippines, ANZ).

Technical Skills

• Enterprise Access Control, Video Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Alarm Systems and Physical Security Infrastructure design oversight.
• Technology experience with Axis, Bosch, Brivo, C-Cure, Commend, EagleEye Networks, Gallagher, Genetec, Honeywell, Lenel S2, Milestone, Zenitel Stentofon.
• Ability to produce technical and budgetary estimates for electronic security projects and liaise with vendors for installation and commissioning.
