Responsibilities

• Manage own category assortment and its implementation to reach targeted budget.
• Seek opportunities to differentiate the category; keep updated on market trends and customer feedback to identify assortment improvements.
• Understand store clustering and apply range and programs to match each cluster; review and update products and ranges by cluster to align with customer behavior, store location and market insight.
• Initiate new product assortment planning and execute with cross-functional teams; promote product brands in Lotus's.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to build impactful promotion campaigns, promotion strategy and promotion plans; roll out in the right place and time.
• Improve space optimization and display range for each store cluster to increase product availability and maximize return on space; propose display improvements to attract customers.
• Monitor and analyze periodic sales performance (daily, weekly and monthly) and find solutions to close performance gaps versus targets.
• Manage stock (stock provision, shrinkage/loss and clearance) to maximize benefit for the company and help optimize stock storage space.
• Manage other income from trade and in-store activity with integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Customer, Trade Planning, Supply Chain, and Store Operations to ensure alignment and support end-to-end processes and store execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in merchandising with Retail, FMCG or other dynamic businesses; experience in electronics companies welcomed.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Extensive merchandiser experience is an advantage.
• Product knowledge and passion.
• Excel (Expert level) skill.
• Report preparation and data analysis skill.
• Product range and trade planning; new product development.
• Presentation, communication and team player skills.
• Category development and leadership attributes.
• Growth mindset, entrepreneurial mindset, situational leadership, delegation, agility, resilience, initiative and creative thinking.
