Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, telecommunications, and fire alarm systems, from conceptual design through construction administration
• Perform technical calculations, electrical analysis, and system modeling to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards
• Conduct site visits to collect data, evaluate existing electrical systems, and assess equipment and materials for project needs
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget
• Coordinate with project teams as the electrical engineering point of contact, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders
• Assist in proposal preparation and contribute to discipline plans that meet project scope and schedule requirements
• Attend client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress, technical solutions, and design decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of professional experience in electrical engineering, building systems design, or a related field
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including the National Electric Code (NEC) and applicable energy codes
• Proficiency with CAD software and Revit for electrical design and documentation
• Demonstrated ability to perform electrical calculations, load analysis, and system design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary team environments
• Willing to work on a 2 years contract with full employment benefits
