About the Company
STANLEY Engineered Fastening, part of Stanley Black & Decker, provides engineered fastening solutions for automotive, construction, oil & gas and heavy construction industries. The business supports manufacturing of fastening systems, pipeline construction equipment, and hydraulic products.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet production plan, output targets, and takt/capacity requirements across lines and shifts.
- Ensure customer delivery performance by coordinating priorities with Planning/Warehouse/Logistics and proactively managing delivery risks.
- Manage and develop production manpower (staffing, shift planning, attendance control, skills/cross-training, performance management) to achieve targets.
- Drive continuous improvement (CI) using structured problem-solving (e.g., RCA, CAPA, Kaizen) to improve productivity, reduce cost, and increase process stability.
- Reduce manufacturing losses including material loss (scrap/usage), defect loss (rework/rejects), and labor loss (inefficiency/absence) with measurable action plans.
- Own quality at the source by ensuring process controls, standard work, and compliance to specifications; coordinate containment and corrective actions for nonconformance.
- Exercise stop-production authority when quality, safety, or process abnormalities are identified; restart only after effective corrective actions are verified.
- Ensure equipment reliability by controlling preventive maintenance execution, coordinating breakdown response, and improving OEE/downtime performance with Maintenance/Engineering.
- Standardize and improve manufacturing systems (work instructions, line balancing, visual management, 5S, process flow) to sustain performance and audit readiness.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 / IATF16949 / ISO14001 / ISO45001 by supporting audits, maintaining required records, closing findings on time, and meeting system requirements.
- Report operational performance (output, OTD, quality, downtime, CI progress, manpower) to Operations Director/GM with clear risks, actions, and timelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and EHS to resolve issues and deliver operational objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of over 10 years of experience in automotive segment manufacturing.
- Good command of English and computer literacy (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
- Ability to read engineering drawings (plastic parts).
- Knowledge in material, planning, and mold especially plastic parts.
- Ability to connect and coach skills to operators.
Skills
- Continuous improvement tools and methods (RCA, CAPA, Kaizen).
- Experience with ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001 compliance and audits.
- Work instruction standardization, 5S and visual management.
- Preventive maintenance coordination and OEE/downtime improvement.
