About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based in Makkasan. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines. Daily tasks include taking customer orders, processing payments, and providing friendly, efficient service at the counter. The Barista will handle basic food preparation, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained. Additional responsibilities include restocking supplies, supporting opening or closing duties, and working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and professional guest experience.
• Barista skills, including beverage preparation, espresso machine operation, and basic coffee knowledge.
• Clear Communication skills for taking orders accurately and coordinating with team members.
• Food Preparation skills and an understanding of basic food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality setting is an advantage but not always required.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
