Language Alignment & Resource Partner (Azerbaijani) - Freelance AI Trainer Project

About the Role

We are sourcing independent Language Alignment & Resource Partners (LARPs) to provide native-level Azerbaijani language vetting and QA for a specialized AI data project. The objective is to evaluate, annotate, and validate data so AI outputs are natural, polished, and free from bias.

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomously to provide linguistic QA and develop alignment resources during production.
• Data annotation & review: review, annotate, and test AI outputs for grammatical accuracy, naturalness, and correct cultural context.
• Quality assurance & vetting: act as a primary quality check to identify and correct subtle cultural errors or awkward phrasing.
• Resource generation: analyze task quality trends and create educational resources and feedback documentation to improve alignment between AI outputs and campaign expectations.
• Provide native-level language vetting and specialized linguistic consultation during project scaling and production.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable work or educational experience in linguistics, education, or other fields requiring high attention to linguistic detail.
• Prior, tangible experience working in human data evaluation or annotation.
• Verified Azerbaijani language proficiency of C1 or C2.
• Ability to transform raw feedback and quality trends into structured, actionable educational resources.
• A meticulous approach to language, able to identify and correct even subtle unnatural phrasing in Azerbaijani.

Benefits

• Pay range: $6 to $65 per hour; exact rate determined by experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offers may vary from the listed range.
• Engagement is freelance / independent contractor; contractors must supply a secure computer and high-speed internet.
