Responsibilities

• Sit within the Artificial Intelligence & Data team (data, analytics and intelligent automation) and drive growth of IA business across Southeast Asia.
• Create, sell and deliver IA solutions including robotic process automation, intelligent character recognition, chatbots/virtual assistants and artificial intelligence.
• Leverage data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover insights and inform decision-making and organizational intelligence programs.
• Design and develop data integration (batch/real-time, ETL/ELT) processes for structured and unstructured data using tools such as Informatica, Talend, Pentaho PDI or AWS Glue.
• Apply analytical models and develop proofs-of-concept using tools such as Dataiku, DataRobot, TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch; build iterative POCs and convert ideas into products.
• Develop predictive, segmentation, forecasting and optimization models and apply text analytics and other algorithms to deliver business value.
• Interact with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and services that meet requirements and expectations.
• Deliver quality code, ensure team deliverables meet or exceed client expectations, and work comfortably in cloud and big data/scalable computing environments.
• Act as a leader: seek developmental opportunities, share knowledge, build cooperative relationships, align team priorities to stakeholder goals, communicate effectively and motivate others.

Qualifications

• Good honours degree, preferably postgraduate, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience in Big 4 or MNC consulting firm or relevant industry role.
• 3–5 years of experience in data science building supervised, unsupervised and/or optimization models that deliver business impact.
• Applied experience in 2+ machine learning problem classes (forecasting, prediction, segmentation, optimization, cognitive use cases).
• Proficient in data quality assessment, data exploration, profiling, design and development of analytic datasets, statistical analysis and machine learning modelling.
• Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS or GCP), or with Python or R; familiarity with tools such as Dataiku or DataRobot.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, client service orientation, interpersonal and communication skills, business acumen, teamwork and leadership; ability to travel.
