Senior Delivery Consultant - AI/ML, ASEAN Professional Services

About the Role

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (AWS ProServe) ASEAN organization is looking for a senior, business-oriented AI/ML practitioner who balances business knowledge with deep technical expertise in Machine Learning and has hands-on implementation experience in the cloud. The role focuses on advising customers to enhance business and operational outcomes through ML on AWS, leading projects, conducting workshops, and implementing complex AI/ML workloads with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Advise customer technologists and business leads to explore the art of the possible with machine learning and develop scalable ML solutions on AWS to deliver business value.
• Discuss complex industry-specific business concepts with customer technologists and business leads, especially in FSI, Telco and Retail.
• Drive large, complex customer engagements across pre-sales and delivery from ideation, architecture design and scoping through to closure and delivery.
• Conduct workshop sessions to identify opportunities and scope how customers could deliver business value using machine learning.
• Provide technical leadership on customer engagements to ensure alignment on scope, deliverables, timeline and expected outcomes.
• Implement complex AI/ML workloads with customers and partners and manage customer stakeholders.
• Travel to customer locations in ASEAN as needed for pre-sales and delivery activities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with direct customer interaction with responsibilities in ML solutions design, architecture and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience as an ML practitioner.
• Ability to think strategically about business, solutions and technical challenges.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in the ASEAN region and ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (examples listed: SageMaker, AmazonQ, Amazon Nova, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
• AWS Professional level certifications preferred (for example, Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional).
• Experience with automation and scripting such as Terraform and Python.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
