Maintenance Engineer, SPX Express (Ayutthaya)

About the Role

Maintenance Engineer based at Ayutthaya (SOCN). Responsible for maintenance of warehouse sorting systems and automated machinery to ensure operational readiness, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze primary equipment downtime to identify trends, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and inspections for warehouse sorting systems and automated machinery.
• Lead planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.
• Minimize unplanned breakdowns through proactive troubleshooting and the implementation of a data-driven maintenance culture.
• Support and enforce Corporate Safety (EHS), Environmental, and Quality Management Systems to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
• Monitor and optimize maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising equipment reliability or safety.
• Generate and manage system change documentation (MOC) to enhance machine efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, conduct performance evaluations and provide technical guidance to meet departmental KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 0–5 years of industrial maintenance or plant engineering experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and automated sorting systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Autodesk AutoCAD) for layout design and technical documentation.
• Deep understanding of local and international mechanical codes, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Strong leadership presence, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work under high pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across departments.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
• Professional working proficiency in English for technical reading and effective communication with international vendors.
