Test Engineer - ATE / Sensors / Semiconductors

About the Company

We are partnered with a global leader in high-performance environmental and ultrasonic sensing solutions. The team is seeking a Test Engineer to serve as the primary technical bridge between European R&D and local manufacturing subcontractors in Thailand. This is a permanent onsite role based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Wafer Sort and Final Test activities, ensuring test cell validation and seamless production flow.
• Lead the transfer of test solutions to production, coordinating closely with local technicians and European R&D teams.
• Drive daily priorities, yield improvements, OEE enhancements, and test time reduction.
• Implement OCAP (Out of Control Action Plans) and supervise test production rules at subcontractor sites.
• Manage local preparations for New Product Introductions and product variant rollouts.
• Troubleshoot ATE hardware and software, maintaining all technical documentation and test procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in semiconductor Wafer test and Backend Test flows.
• Hands-on experience with Advantest V93k, Cohu LTX/DiamondX, or Fusion DMX platforms.
• Proficient in C/Pascal and statistical analysis tools like Spotfire.
• Strong background in sensor trimming, Design for Test (DfT), and 8D quality protocols.
• Flexibility for extended international travel (months) for specialized training.

Skills

• Experience with ATE, Wafer Sort, Final Test, NPI, sensor trimming, yield optimization and test cell validation.
