Assistant Manager/Senior Specialist, IT SAP Logistics (Rayong based)

About the Role

Based in Plant Thailand and BPM (Rayong), you will be responsible for SAP projects, change management, and operations across all logistics-related modules, acting as the key interface between BMW Central IT product owners and the local operation to ensure global standards and solutions are aligned, adopted and optimized for the Thai environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective IT SAP change and operations management for BMW Plant Thailand, BPM, Body Shop and upcoming BEV production.
• Serve as the local interface to Central IT product owners to align and adopt global SAP solutions.
• Ensure SAP security and governance comply with company regulations and Internal Control Standards (ICS), enforcing segregation of duties per BMW SAP guidelines.
• Operate and support SAP Material Management (TH), Warehouse Management, MIC, Local Supplier processes and all related interfaces.
• Manage business-driven SAP enhancements via a structured change control process and ensure all SAP operational SLAs are met.
• Support SAP user management including roles, authorizations and access rights.
• Perform business requirement analysis and develop local solution designs for maintenance and improvements; participate in Central IT rollout project teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT SAP configurations, procedures and processes; generate regular reports on SAP performance, capacity, system health and security incidents and communicate updates and issues to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge on SAP basics and authorization concept.
• Functional knowledge across SAP modules: Material Management, Logistics, Sales & Distribution, Production, Financial Accounting, Warehouse Management, Controlling and Plant Maintenance.
• Cross-functional knowledge across different modules, classification and batch management, ITS-Mobile solution, and interface connections.
• Knowledge on ABAP programming and central system integration business flows (e.g. IVS-R, VDS, PFIFF).
• Knowledge on export business and standard tools such as SOLMAN (Solution Manager).
• Work effectively in a team-oriented environment and maintain strong internal & external relationships.
• Ability to make decisions within general practices and procedures; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have solid English skills with good communication and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to acquire knowledge in a short timescale; enthusiastic in learning, self-motivated and a good team player with intercultural orientation and flexible attitude.
• Ability to communicate, inspire, activate and motivate people.
• Knowledge in AGILE methodology and experience in Agile Master roles such as Rollout Manager, Startup Manager and Test Manager.
