Research And Development Engineer || Urgent Hiring

About the Role

Work on cutting-edge sustainable packaging solutions and contribute to the development of eco-friendly materials like bagasse, pulp, and fiber-based products. This role focuses on driving innovation in materials, manufacturing processes, and product development to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and launch new sustainable products.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new sustainable materials and products
• Improve existing manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost optimization
• Implement new process technologies aligned with business goals
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
• Lead and manage R&D projects with clear timelines and deliverables
• Support cost-saving and investment initiatives
• Conduct machine and mold testing and analyze results

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Industrial, Automation, or related)
• 3+ years of R&D / Process Engineering experience (preferably in food packaging)
• Experience with bagasse, pulp, paper, or fiber materials/processes
• Knowledge of plastic and non-plastic materials
• Hands-on experience with machines, molds, and testing
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills

Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD or automation systems (nice to have)
• Background in sustainable material innovation (nice to have)
• Strong communication and presentation skills (nice to have)

Benefits
