Officer, PM Inspector

Responsibilities

• Prepare inspection methods for verifying Product Master (PM), including defining inspection points and selecting appropriate measuring instruments for each point
• Review and correct PM drawings to ensure dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and acceptance criteria aligned with manufacturing capabilities
• Establish key control characteristics and align them with inspection plans and methods
• Design and develop suitable gauges and tools, ensuring timely completion
• Drive improvement of inspection techniques by shifting from attribute-based to variable data for more reliable and objective decision-making
• Monitor and follow up on inspection results during pre-production and production phases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve inspection processes
• Enhance inspection data collection methods to ensure accuracy and reliability

Qualifications

• Diploma, High Vocational Certificate, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Industrial field, or related disciplines
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or quality inspection processes
• Experience in jewellery manufacturing is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret 2D technical drawings
• Knowledge of selecting appropriate measuring tools and inspection methods
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
