About the Role

The Performance Test Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance testing for the bank’s customer-facing digital platforms — including Mobile Banking, Web Application, and Tablet interfaces — to ensure performance, stability and scalability under expected and peak user loads.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test summary reports for project team review
• Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures
• Develop performance test scripts and prepare test environments
• Conduct system performance testing to ensure reliability, capacity and scalability using LoadRunner (or equivalent tools)
• Understand business requirements to ensure test cases are accurate and have necessary coverage
• Prepare test data and manage regression test suite and test cases
• Execute performance testing and report results, logging defects found
• Analyze test results, scalability, throughput and performance metrics and coordinate with development teams for defect fixes
• Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions
• Build and maintain performance testing strategy and framework; coach and guide QA specialists on test plan and strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology or related fields
• At least 6–10 years experience in Mobile Internet Application testing, development or related functions
• Knowledge of banking products and the Banking & Finance industry
• Understanding of business process management of banking operations and risk management of solution design
• Familiarity with Agile & DevOps automated tools and CI/CD practices
• Performance testing experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, Postman or K6
