Enterprise Architect - Cloud COE

About the Role

SCBX is transforming into a global-leading financial and technology group. As part of the Cloud Center of Excellence (Cloud CoE), this role standardizes cloud architecture, drives modernization, and develops enterprise-grade cloud platforms across the group. The Enterprise Architect will design secure, scalable, resilient multi-cloud solutions and govern cloud adoption across PortCo.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and govern cloud architecture standards aligned with enterprise strategy, security baselines and regulatory requirements.
• Define, develop and maintain cloud landing zones, reference architectures and reusable solution patterns across major CSPs (Azure, AWS, GCP, Huawei).
• Design and perform hands-on prototyping (POC), solution builds and provide end-to-end technical leadership from requirements to operational transition.
• Ensure best practices in identity, network, security, observability and workload design; promote cost optimization and FinOps.
• Oversee hybrid/multi-cloud integrations, private cloud interconnects and enterprise data platform integration.
• Drive advanced cloud capabilities such as serverless, container platforms, event-driven architectures and large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity and business teams to translate business needs into cost-efficient, secure and resilient multi-cloud architectures.
• Engage and manage stakeholders across PortCo with differing cloud maturity levels and introduce tools and automation to improve developer experience and platform efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in multi-cloud or enterprise architecture with focus on cloud solutions for the BFSI industry or other highly regulated industries.
• Proven hands-on experience architecting and implementing solutions on major CSPs such as Azure, AWS, GCP and Huawei, covering compute, storage, networking, IAM and security.
• Practical experience with containerization (AKS/EKS/GKE), serverless, CI/CD and DevOps integration, and cloud-native service adoption.
• Strong knowledge of distributed application patterns including microservices, API architectures and event streaming.
• Experience managing full project lifecycles from requirements to delivery and operations.
• Strong collaboration, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Standout & Preferred Skills

• Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly advantageous.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF), infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation, and SRE/DevOps practices.
• Background in technology consulting, hyperscalers or fast-paced scale-up environments is a plus.
