Senior Data Center Operations Manager – Thailand

About the Role

We are looking for experienced data center leaders interested in future opportunities with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in Thailand, Pathum Thani.

You will lead teams of Data Center Technicians and Field Engineers who install, maintain and support servers, network equipment and other IT hardware.

Your role will be to keep operations running reliably, support your teams and prepare for growth. You will work with local and global teams to solve problems, improve daily operations and support new data center deployments.

What will you do?

• Lead teams responsible for 24/7 data center hardware operations.
• Hire, coach and develop managers, technicians and engineers.
• Plan staffing and team workloads to support daily operations and future growth.
• Oversee hardware installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Support new data center deployments and make sure your teams are ready to operate them.
• Help teams resolve major operational issues and keep stakeholders informed.
• Work with global teams to follow common processes and deliver projects on time.
• Improve team performance, work quality and operational efficiency.
• Manage vendors and make sure work meets company procedures, safety requirements and local regulations.

What are we looking for?

• Experience leading large technical teams in data centers or similar IT environments where service availability is critical.
• Strong knowledge of data center IT hardware operations, including servers, networking and hardware support.
• Experience hiring, coaching and developing managers and technical staff.
• Experience managing 24/7 operations and handling major operational issues.
• Ability to plan resources, set priorities and manage several projects or operational needs at the same time.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work with local teams, global colleagues and senior leaders.
• Experience supporting large-scale cloud or hyperscale data centers.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
