Manager/Snr Hydraulics Engineer (Plumbing & Fire Protection) x4

About the Role

Lead and deliver plumbing and fire protection system designs for building and infrastructure projects. Work with an established international engineering consultancy across projects in Thailand and the wider region, collaborating with global teams and multidisciplinary project groups within the Built Environment division.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver plumbing and fire protection system designs, including detailed engineering calculations, analysis and technical documentation.
• Apply relevant codes, standards and engineering principles to ensure high-quality outputs and support development of design reports and technical submissions.
• Develop and manage Revit-based BIM models for plumbing and fire protection systems, produce and review detailed drawings and construction documentation, and update/maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in maintaining regional BIM standards and templates and ensure compliance with BIM Forum LOD, AIA and NBIMS best practices for BIM collaboration.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural and MEP disciplines; participate in design coordination meetings and clash detection sessions; support information exchange between internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical support during construction and delivery phases.
• For Manager-level candidates: provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, support project delivery planning, ensure deadlines and quality standards are met, and act as a key technical point of contact within project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Sanitary, Environmental Engineering or related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in MEP building services design or construction industry.
• Basic knowledge to apply principles to design modelling and drawing production.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Familiarity with the BIM Forum LOD Specification, plus AIA and NBIMS standards and best practices for BIM collaboration.
• Keen to have knowledge of construction technology and construction practices and eager to learn new BIM tools, procedures and best practices.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Experience in building plumbing and fire protection system design within a consulting engineering company is an advantage.
• Possession of Thai Professional Engineer License is an advantage.
