Hach-TH Water Quality Platform, part of the Hach Company, manufactures and distributes analytical instruments and reagents used to test water quality. Due to growth in Thailand, Hach is recruiting a Senior Accountant (Budgeting & Reporting) to join the Water Quality Thailand Group.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for general financial accounting, analytical reporting, cost management, and oversight of accounts receivable activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls. The role covers end-to-end financial accounting, month-end close, actual versus forecast analysis, costing, and financial performance evaluation, partnering with managers, business leaders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and support management and consolidated reporting
• Support month-end and year-end close including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts; analyze budget vs actual variances and provide insights
• Support cost control, costing and margin analysis, and business planning with relevant analysis
• Prepare financial analysis and reports for management; assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis when required
• Oversee accounts receivable activities and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate accounting records and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in general financial accounting and financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger, month-end close, costing, margin analysis, and internal controls
• Proven experience in actual vs forecast reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; ERP experience preferred
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to review others' work
• Able to work independently, proactively, and under pressure
• Fluent in Thai and good English communication skills (listen, read, write, and speak)
