Senior Liquid Cooling Engineer - AI Infrastructure & Thermal Systems

About the Role

Our client is a global technology manufacturing leader supporting next-generation AI infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, and high-performance computing platforms. As part of continued expansion in advanced thermal solutions, they are seeking an experienced engineering professional with strong expertise in liquid cooling systems, thermal manufacturing, and process optimization. This role will act as a key technical liaison between manufacturing operations, global engineering teams, and thermal component suppliers across Asia, driving engineering excellence in cold plate, manifold, and liquid cooling technologies supporting AI server and data center platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities related to liquid cooling systems including cold plates, manifolds, and thermal modules.
• Act as the technical liaison between manufacturing, suppliers, quality, and global engineering teams.
• Support NPI, pilot builds, and mass production ramp-up for thermal components.
• Drive process improvements across brazing, welding, leak testing, and assembly operations.
• Troubleshoot thermal manufacturing and quality issues, conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide DFM feedback to improve manufacturability, reliability, and production yield.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing and quality documentation including PFMEA, inspection standards, and testing procedures.
• Support supplier audits and continuous improvement initiatives across Asia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in liquid cooling, thermal solutions, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience with cold plates, manifolds, liquid cooling systems, and heat sinks / vapor chamber technologies.
• Hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes such as brazing, welding, leak testing, and thermal assembly.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, supplier quality, or NPI environments.
• Knowledge of AI servers, data center infrastructure, or high-performance computing platforms is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
