About our group:
The Materials Department drives corporate success through effective planning, internal teamwork, and external partnerships. We work closely with Operations (Slider & HGA) and Engineering to stay fully aligned across functions.
About the role - you will:
- Plan and execute purchasing and planning activities.
- Schedule and monitor material flow throughout the production cycle.
- Own both Production Planning and Materials Planning functions.
- Coordinate material movement across Purchasing, Production, and Engineering.
- Control inventory levels to meet corporate targets.
- Align production plans with schedules and capacity.
About you:
- Perform under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Prioritize and manage multiple competing deadlines.
- A self-motivated team player and fast learner.
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Your experience includes:
- Experience in HDD manufacturing or a comparable high-volume electronics environment.
- Background in Material Planning, Production Control, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Solid grasp of supply chain processes, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
- Experience in digital transformation or data-driven decision-making in manufacturing.
- Ability to build dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience in predictive analysis / forecasting using AI or statistical tools.
