Director of Information Technology

About the Role

We are seeking a highly commercial and business-oriented Head of Information Technology to champion innovative retail technologies that drive storefront productivity, such as implementing automated ordering systems and digital service platforms to optimize operational costs and streamline staffing models.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT initiatives that align with overarching business goals, ensuring every new system implementation delivers measurable cost savings and positive financial ROI.
• Deploy operational technologies to maximize efficiency, reduce operational bottlenecks, and optimize storefront headcount.
• Oversee the technology infrastructure supporting large-scale food delivery integrations and extensive customer loyalty and CRM programs.
• Actively communicate directly with storefront operations teams and end-customers, gathering real-world feedback to improve technology user interfaces and experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as an IT executive within a large-scale, multi-branch organization; experience managing technology for FMCG, hospitality chains, or retail networks is highly preferred.
• Highly commercial with a sharp focus on P&L accountability, cost-saving technologies, and operational process optimization.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the confidence and empathy required to interact directly with customers and translate operational pain points into technology solutions.
