Technical Project manager

About the Role

Job Title: Technical Project manager. Location: Remote. Employment Type: Contract. We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Technical Project Manager to lead the execution of core technology and engineering initiatives, acting as the link between software, engineering, and product teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with global stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets, and track progress using standard metrics.
• Lead, motivate, and direct project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring seamless communication across all departments.
• Identify potential project risks and bottlenecks, proactively devising mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and present regular status updates, performance reports, and budget forecasts to international leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in project management, successfully delivering end-to-end projects within agreed budgets and timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient with Project Management Software and tools such as Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple time zones, cultures, and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong working knowledge of standard frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall).
• Ability to read technical documentation, interpret technical jargon, and translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance lifecycles and software deployment processes.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a distinct advantage.
• Budget tracking & data analysis skills, including advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) or experience with financial ERP systems for cost control and forecasting.
• Experience building flowcharts, process maps, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) using tools like Lucidchart or Visio.
