AI Engineer

About the Role

AI Engineer at Siam Piwat. Onsite, full-time role focused on designing and delivering generative AI solutions for retail and O2O business operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-model AI solutions using SaaS APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude) and fine-tuned open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral), balancing performance, cost, and data privacy.
• Develop, test, and optimize advanced prompts and fine-tuning strategies to make LLMs effective for retail and O2O use cases.
• Build and deploy end-to-end AI applications, from backend API integrations to front-end prototypes, ensuring scalability and reliability on the cloud Kubernetes stack.
• Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to ground LLMs in enterprise data (tenant info, promotions, FAQs, operational docs).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Leasing, Operations, and Customer Service to translate business needs into AI-powered solutions.
• Develop cloud-agnostic solutions with primary deployment on Huawei Cloud and compatibility with other cloud providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field.
• Proven experience building applications with generative AI and LLMs.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and API integration for models such as OpenAI GPT or Google Gemini.
• Strong programming skills and experience with frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Huawei Cloud, AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Product mindset with a focus on solving real-world retail/O2O business problems and strong communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
