Officer, Rack Design (BB)

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end process for new product testing and mass production phase for improvement projects
• Design hanging racks with first testing offline to ensure results before launch to mass production
• Collaborate with product engineers for designing hanging racks per product requirements
• Support process engineers for problem solving and improvement on plating results related to hanging methods
• Ensure that hanging racks are prototyped and produced by suitable equipment and tools, collaborating with tooling team
• Ensure materials used for hanging racks are suitable to the purpose and chemicals in plating line or related processes
• Cooperate with requesters to ensure delivery plan matches and is suitable for production plan
• Collaborate with engineers and suppliers during roll out phase for designed hanging racks to ensure quality and design

Qualifications

• High Vocational Certificate (or higher) in Mechanical, Industrial Technology, or related field
• Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (jewellery industry preferred)
• Experience in jig/fixture and tooling design, development, or fabrication
• Basic knowledge in mechanical and industrial engineering
• Creative and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Hands-on, proactive, and results-driven
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Committed to continuous improvement and learning
• Fair English communication and writing skills
