About the Role

Join the Software Development Engineering (High Tech) team focused on developing software platforms and applications. The Senior SAP Consultant / PM is a Specialist Professional (P4) and a recognized subject matter expert who will coach others, review work, and manage large projects or processes with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to understand software domain, functionality, hardware-software interfaces, and overall software characteristics.
• Develop software using programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write code and implement solutions.
• Support software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding enhancements.
• Apply software development best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Coach, review and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
• Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.

Qualifications

• Recognized subject matter expert (Specialist Professional P4) typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
• Experience managing large projects or processes and mentoring junior staff.
• Demonstrated experience across software development lifecycle: requirements, development, testing, deployment and operations.

Skills / Technical Skills

• Experience with programming, scripting and database languages.
• Familiarity with coding standards, code reviews, source control and build processes.
• Experience supporting testing, deployment, maintenance and production operations.
