About the Role

Under general supervision and applying knowledge gained with experience, begins functioning as a technical specialist and builds deeper knowledge working on larger and more complex assignments. Engineering role in business development, project development and project execution with focus on mechanical engineering for EPC infrastructure power plant projects and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform project execution work to ensure engineering, procurement, and construction comply with project requirements for quality, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare engineering deliverables, including calculations, flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical equipment lists, pipeline lists, valve lists, and miscellaneous device lists.
• Research and develop recommendations for equipment and materials selection; collect, assimilate, and manage data for engineering work.
• Prepare work packages for external engineering service providers: define scope and specifications, evaluate bids, award packages, review external drawings/documents, attend inspections, and prepare/review acceptance test reports; support construction activities.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance to entry-level professionals and interns; coordinate with project leadership and other disciplines on design details.
• Support business development or pursuit activities and share current knowledge of latest technology and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
• Preferred: 3+ years experience in detail design engineering; experience in EPC infrastructure power plant or system design for boiler or gas turbine is preferred.
• Minimum: 1+ year related work experience.
• Good command of English (writing and speaking).
• Able to work as a team, work well under pressure, self-motivated with initiative.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements as applicable (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search).
